Baptism

I’m getting baptized today!!!
Our Church does something different each time with baptisms and this time all the people getting baptized had to select one of our favourite bible verses or one significant to us and recorded us saying it so the verse will be projected on the screen and my voice coming out of the speakers saying it.
And I chose Luke 4:18-19 because that was a really important verse for me I felt I could really identify with it and I had a lightbulb moment when my pastor was preaching on this verse last semester
18“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
