What would it look like if Jesus was born in Hong Kong?

Thank you to everyone who gave their answers, smiles, and presence to this video.

Edited by Sarah Wu for FCC Christmas Service 2010.

The great God who made the universe suddenly became the vulnerable baby of Bethlehem. The baby who cried. Don’t sing ‘Away In A Manger’, where you sing ‘no crying he makes’. That’s rubbish. Jesus cried like any healthy child. Here in the manger of Bethlehem was this child, this weak baby, who needed a mother’s milk and a father’s care and protection. This child is none other than God himself. And this is the wonder of Christmas: that God stepped down - he’s a down to earth God. He came down from heaven to meet with us. And he was in the form of a child - a baby.

This year, it’s carols.
